À propos

This Summer we have a range of workshops and week-long camps to keep our younger audiences entertained. Beginning with Createschool in early July, teenagers will have an opportunity to explore the creative possibilities on offer through digital technology. Artzone offers younger children a chance to make their own art works while Wonderland Theatre offers budding stars a week’s worth of theatrical experience- everything from acting to costume design, sound, lights and more. Fabian Erlinghauser (of Cartoon Saloon’s Secret of Kells fame) will offer some lucky participants a chance to learn from the best about animation while our fabulous children’s gallery will be a hive of print-making activity this Summer with Print Block and The National Print Museum.

In other areas, we have some superb theatre to offer this season kicking off with Cherrywild’s tennis smash Love All; a story of Irish soldiers and their music in March Away My Brothers and Marina Carr’s Woman and Scarecrow in September.
In terms of music we have plenty on offer including David Kitt, Sam Amidon and Andy Irvine while The Music Makers combines the beautiful filmmaking skills of Myles O’Reilly with the highly skilled craft of traditional Irish music and instrument-making.
Also in September, Riverbank Arts Centre is taking part in Newbridge 200 Festival celebrations this year and will present Wonderland Production’s off-site street theatre piece Sylvia’s Quest which takes place every day for the week of the Festival. While on September 15th, experience an outstanding event as Anùna perform a special concert at St Conleth’s Church.
