The magnificent 1100 seat Matthews Theatre, located in the main building, was recently
renovated thanks to the generosity of Princeton University. The new handcrafted imported
lighting fixtures, rich velvet covered seats, new carpeting, and a welcoming color scheme,
maintain the original dignity and charm of the 75 year old house. The auditorium, which
includes Premium Orchestra, Front and Rear Orchestra, Front and Rear Balcony, and Box/Grand
Tier sections, has superb acoustics and sightlines from any seat and boasts
state-of-the-art computerized sound and lighting systems.
