Cambridge Arts Theatre, Cambridge
Théâtre à l'italienne
Cambridge Arts Theatre is one of the region’s liveliest and most exciting venues, hosting a varied programme of drama, dance, music, comedy and pantomime, as well as many shows prior to and direct from the West End.
Located in the heart of the City, the Theatre was founded in 1936 by renowned economist John Maynard Keynes. Our aim is to promote and develop a wide range of high quality of live performance, which is enriching, enjoyable and accessible to all and which embraces all sections of the community.
In so doing, we seek to play a leading role in the artistic life of Cambridge and the Eastern region, enhancing the cultural and financial economy in a way that honours our unique history and creates new possibilities for the artists and audiences of the future.
