The beautiful centerpiece of the Lakeland Center is the 2,296 seat Youkey Theatre. The theatre is named for Robert Youkey, former Lakeland City Manager, who had a vision to build the Lakeland Center for his community. This theatre is home to The Lakeland Center's annual Broadway & Entertainment Series; Imperial Symphony Orchestra; and is ideally suited for dance events, plays, and concerts. The Theatre also offers the flexibility for meetings and general sessions and other corporate events.

Performances of any nature would shine on the outstanding stage of the Youkey Theatre with its Broadway sized stage, 2,296 seating capacity, 6 private dressing rooms, and non-union stage crew.
