About

The National Centre for Early Music offers a unique performance space for a variety of different artists.
With its attractive City Centre location, the Centre provides an ideal location for public and private performances with optional use of candelabras that can be used for candlelit concerts and events.
The Centre will provide a front of house manager and at least two stewards for any public event. It can provide Box Office services and sell CDs and other merchandise on the day of the concert.
The Centre offers excellent acoustics, theatre lighting, black-out facilities, recording equipment and is an entirely flexible performance space that can be adapted to meet a whole variety of needs.
The Centre has been used by a number of different organisations who have brought with them artists of international standing including the York Early Music Festival and The Black Swan Folk Club.
