The Adelphi Theatre is a 1500-seat West End theatre,
located on the Strand in the City of Westminster. The Adelphi Theatre was
founded in 1806 as the Sans Pareil ("Without Compare"). There have been four
theatres on this site in the Strand, operating under no fewer than seven different names.
We recently celebrated the theatre’s bicentenary as the first building opened its
doors on 27th November 1806.
