The Quebec Drama Federation (QDF) is a non-profit organization created as an umbrella association for the English-language theatre in Quebec.  The QDF membership base is diverse and includes theatre companies and individual artists who actively support the organization’s mandate.  QDF is a strong voice for ensuring effective representation for leading theatre organizations and institutions and advocates for greater access to public funds for artists, increased public awareness of artists’ working conditions and professional development for artists’ growth.  QDF has a specific mandate to represent professional and aspiring theatre companies, individual artists and theatrical practitioners, along with educators who provide theatrical training.  The organizations’ mission encompasses many activities such as providing direct services to its members which are designed to have an impact on Quebec English Theatre and Quebec culture.
